Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Creative Director to lead and oversee all creative strategy and deliverables for our clients.  A successful candidate will have a passion for advertising, desire to lead a creative team and a strong understanding of brand strategy and execution through all marketing channels. The Creative Director will work alongside the account management, project management, research and media teams. Position will be based in our Bismarck, ND office. Remote work will be considered for the right candidate.  



  • Collaborate with the Senior Account and Creative Team to translate client marketing objectives into clear creative strategies 
  • Develop exceptional and well-crafted creative deliverables that meet clients’ requirements. 
  • Work closely with creative team to carry strategy through all campaign elements including video, digital, social, print and collateral 
  • Ensure brand standards are being met across all client work 
  • Oversee client proposals and pitches 
  • Review client work and provide feedback to the creative team 
  • Continually study the creative marketplace and stay current with trends and innovations 
  • Create and implement tailored creative strategy based on individual client requirements 
  • Direct brainstorm and creative sessions 
  • Shape brand standards and create procedures to ensure all client assets and deliverables are being met 
  • Supervising the department's daily workflow, assigning project workloads, and monitoring deadlines 



  • Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism, and other relevant fields. 
  • A minimum of 10 years of related experience with 5+ years of creative direction in an agency or corporate setting 
  • Proven experience with strategy and concept development 
  • A solid understanding of design, copy, video, web digital and social practices. 
  • Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Highly skilled leading a team of creative talent 
  • In-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models. 
  • Must be a creative and strategic thinker 
  • Proven problem-solving ability 
  • Insightful and perceptive with broad knowledge of business 
  • Deadline and results-driven in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to quickly pivot and change strategies as needed
